Long story short
I was 17 y/o when this random guy gave me a flyer about a graphic design school*. A bunch of years later, I read Mike Monteiro’s “Ruined by Design” —he also was a random guy when I started reading the book, tbh— and, boom, I went from generalist freelance UX/UI designer to this “you have to take responsibility on your digital decisions” keen.

Doing good takes a village
Open source taught me a lot about tech and responsibility—and showed me that real change happens when we collaborate.
For over 5 years, I’ve been active in the WordPress community: speaking, organizing, volunteering, translating, and even being a Sustainability Team’s Rep.
Lately, I have been also collaborating with The Green Web Foundation and been part of ClimateAction.tech, and I’m always on the lookout for open source and values-driven projects where great people come together to make tech a feature—not a bug.
